Things to Do

Playground

The playground is a fantastic play space for smaller children. The equipment is in good condition and includes swings, a climbing frame and slide, roundabout, bucket swing and rockers.

Ball Games

The green fields next to the playground is a perfect breakout space for ball games. The older ones will find this more appealing. You could play games like football, cricket, rugby, hockey, or badminton to name a few.

Football

There is one adult full-sized grass football pitch with two fixed goals.

Walking-Running

Take a stroll or walk the dog on the grass field. These open fields lead to Guru Nanak Woodlands.

You can use the open fields and the neighbouring woodlands as a good area for running. We recommend a bit of interval training using the pace and terrain to test yourself.

Guru Nanak Woodlands

From 2021 the Sikh community have pursued a vision to plant up to 550 trees in Carr Manor Fields. This effort to increase the woodland around the playing fields is being done to improve the local biodiversity. The community is welcome and invited to be part of this tree planting process.
