Things to Do

Ridge Plantation is a hidden gem that you wouldn’t even know was there. The footfall is quiet.

Dog Walking

Ridge Plantation is great for walking the dog. There are wide open trails throughout the plantation. Most of these trails are shaded under the trees.

Bike Riding

For some off-road riding the Plantation is a good place to take the little ones for a bike ride. As there are no cars and little footfall it is a good place to let your little one cycle solo ahead of you.

Tree-spotting

As the plantation has had extensive tree planting over the last hundred years and more there are lots of trees to discover. Use the Woodland Trust British tree spotting guide to identify and get to know the trees in  the Ridge Plantation.
