Why Discover Leeds
Discover Leeds was created in June 2020. Initially to help highlight and promote green spaces across Leeds.
The lock downs in 2020 started a lot of conversations around where to go outside. Locals wanting to stretch their legs, and discover "green spaces" within Leeds. Many people found that they had not explored their local area due to being too busy with work and social lives. When digging into this we found that there were many undocumented woods and parks around Leeds.
What's Next?
Now that the world has re-opened, we are still documenting and promoting Leeds green spaces. But are also helping support the Leeds hospitality scene. There are hundreds of incredible businesses, new and old - we are aiming to help document and promote every one. To provide an accessibility and easy to use platform to spread the word!
