Woodhouse is a large mixed residential area home to students and families; located on the edge of the northern end of the city centre, close to the University of Leeds.

Playground

A small children’s playground with climbing cubes, a rope swing, a swing beam, rockers, and even rocks to climb and step across.

Cycling

There is a 300-metre paved circular path that circles around the outer edges of the park. This pathed route is ready mate for anyone learning to ride a bike.

Football

There is a grass junior football pitch with a single fixed goal – perfect for a game of knockout!

MUGA

Play on a half sized concrete multi-use-games-area that has a single basketball hoop. This area is perfect to practice shooting some hoops or for a 1 on 1 game.

The nearest public toilet is at the Chemic Tavern pub.

Rubbish and dog waste bins are found in the park.

There is good lighting in the park along the paths.

Food and Drink

Arkwright’s Fish & Chips takeaway is a great place to get some traditional fish and chips. And you’re welcome to eat these next door in the Chemic Tavern.
