Things to Do

Playground

The playground was last replaced in 2017. It’s in a relatively small space but that doesn’t take any of the fun away! There are swings, spinners, rockers, a roundabout, a small and large climbing frame with slides.

Weaving in and out of the equipment is a bicycle track with playful markings – perfect for little ones learning to pedal, or practice their agility, balance and coordination with games!

Football

There is one full sized grass football pitch with fixed goal posts in the park.

Skatepark

This skatepark is ideal for both a scooter and skateboarder; the ramps are made out of metal which accommodates more for the two wheelers on a scooter or BMX, because it helps with the tyre grip.

MUGA

The multi-use-games-area next is next to the playground and skatepark. This concrete space is enclosed by a fence, making the flow games of basketball and football. Come for a game of one on one or play a match between friends.

Bowling

Woodlesford Park is home to Woodlesford Bowling Club; lots of competitive games take place on the crown green bowling surface, and there are opportunities for new players to come and have a go. To find out more simply turn up and get involved.
