The Food
The Cardigan Arms has a range of magnificent food. Much of the menu is your staple British pub grub fayre.
You can choose from light bites and bar snacks, hot dogs, burgers, flatbreads, and loaded fries. Oh, and they do a pretty tasty roast on a Sunday!

The Drink
There are up-to 17-lines of hand pulled ales and lagers – Kirkstall Brewery, a burgeoning local brewery that is continuing the brewing legacy of the Cistercian monks, actually owns the pub; so you can expect a fair few Kirkstall brews!
If beer isn’t your thing you can also choose from cocktails, spritz, mixers, and soft drinks including tea and coffee.
The Place
Built in 1896 with an eye on the affluent new housing developments of Lord Cardigan’s Leeds estates, the ‘Cardi’ is outstanding for the overall completeness of its compartmentalised interior.
It retains much of its as-built décor and fittings with extensive use made of etched glass, fine woodwork, ornamented ceilings and wall-coverings. There are also signs of a 1930s makeover, namely the tiling in the right-hand corridor and gents’, and woodwork in the Oak Room.
The bar-fittings are from restoration work in the 1980s by its long-time owners, Joshua Tetley & Son.

Quiz
Hosted in the event function room. One of Leeds’ most famous pub quizzes takes place every Tuesday from 8:00pm. Led by a quiz master on a keyboard, you can expect rounds that include song, poetry and drawing. Free entry and a chance to win a bar tab!

Open Mic Night
Every 2nd and 4th Monday from 7:30pm is the Cardi inclusive open mic night. There’s always a rotating roster of local artists sharing their talents under the chandeliers in the function room.

There is no on-site parking for the Cardigan Arms, but we would suggest parking opposite in Cardigan Fields.

The side entrance to the Cardigan Arms has a level entry. The front entrance is a single step entry. Some parts of the pub are suitable for wheelchair users, including a disability accessible toilet.
