The Drink
212 is a versatile all rounder when it comes to topping up your glass. It’s got a great selection of unusual bottled lagers and beers on tap. And there’s also a good range of wine, gins and cocktails.
For those that pop in a little earlier in the day you’re probably going to want something wet and warm, like a proper cup of coffee. These guys get rave reviews for pouring a cuppa to rival other independent coffee shops in the area.
The Place
Arriving at 212 you’re immediately struck by the quirky musical décor that is the DNA of the bar. A quick glance next to the bar and you’ll clock the great little sound system that gives a platform to local DJ’s and musicians to create the soundtrack. And more than not it’s fist pumping in the air kind of tunes.
However if fancy kicking back and enjoying the company of some friends then pull up a pew select a board game from the pile. Or cuddle up to the owners very cute boxer dog called Ralph.
