Take a look around
If you’re not already aware tapas was originally the bar snacks served with sherry in any typical Spanish bar. Yet at Ambiente Tapas it’s grown into a dining experience. Spanish with a big dose of Mediterranean and European influence, including a little bit of Yorkshire. You can go in with a sharing platter or opt for single dishes from the meat, fish and vegetarian section of the menu.
The drinks list at Ambiente Tapas will not disappoint! Sherry is the cultural bedrock of this restaurant and you can choose from over 60 with a little help from the inhouse connoisseurs. Alongside the fine sweet stuff there’s a vast selection of wine, cava, beer and cocktails.
Ambiente Tapas removes the veil on the dining experience from start to finish. Once your order is taken you’ll be able to watch the chefs cook it live in the restaurants fire-breathing Josper oven. And on a summers day you can tuck into your tapas on the balcony overlooking the river Aire.
Ambiente Tapas is located in the trendy Calls Lane area on the River Aire – a lively upmarket district full of bars and eateries.
