The Food

The food menu focuses on modern British cuisine with classic pub favourites. Chefs use Yorkshire suppliers where possible to produce fresh locally sourced dishes.

Signature dishes include the Sunday roasts with giant Yorkshire puddings brimming with gravy; steaks, scampi and burgers, fish and chips, and steak and ale pie are just some of the hearty dishes on offer.

The Drink

The Scotts Arms offers a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Popular picks include the three regular ales on tap – Black Sheep Best Bitter, Timothy Taylor Landlord, and Wainwright Gold. An additional rotating ale is sometimes available during the winter months.

Cask ales are served by hand-pull alongside a selection of bottled beers. A range of wines and spirits are also available.

The Place

The Scotts Arms has a charming, traditional pub atmosphere with low wooden beams, crackling log fires, and candlelit tables.

The seating comprises intimate lounges filled with tables and chairs, in addition to a built-in seating area by the L-shaped bar that caters to drinkers. On Friday nights, the pub hosts live acoustic music performances starting at 7:30pm.

The Scotts Arms has a large beer garden and sheltered pergola, perfect for spending time outdoors during the summer months. And if you drink too much you could always stay the night in one of its five guest rooms.

Children and doggos are welcome at the Scotts Arm.
