One of Wetherby’s longest standing pubs. It has built up its good reputation in the community as ‘Bar Three’ since the late noughties.

And now the bar has been brought bang up to date with a renovation of the building and a new drinks, food and event offering.

There are vegan friendly, and vegetarian friendly food options available.

The Food

The menu comes with a range of breakfast and dinner options, including: bottomless brunch, sharing plates and vegan and veggie options.

Firm favourites with a fancy twist are there such as sourdough pizzas, haloumi skewers and karaage chicken.

Or you might want something a little smaller like the ‘crafternoon tea’ where thirst quenching brews compliment tasty bites – it’s not your usual English tea!

The Drink

The bar has a strong selection of cask ales and craft beers; there’s also a wide selection of wines and spirts with a two-for-one cocktail deal.

One of the stand outs is the number of gins you can choose from – over 100 to try!

The Place

Everyone in the family including the pooch are welcome at Bar Three. There’s ample of comfortable space indoors to watch live sport or make the most of the summer in the large beer garden.

Every Thursday the bar hosts a smart phone quiz. And on a Friday the live music – acoustic sets and DJs – are rolled out. Both start at 8pm.

History

Bar Three was originally one of the first pubs in Wetherby dating back to 1857. The original name back then was ‘the Three Legs’ which took its name from the Isle of Man. The three legs traditionally represented a knell at England, a kick at Scotland and a spurn to Ireland. How patriotic!

The Location

Located in the northern market town of Wetherby. Bar Three is situated in a great spot in the market place, very close to Wetherby Bridge and the River Wharfe.
