The Drink

The Regent offers a variety of beers on tap including cask ales like Greene King IPA, Leeds Best, and Leeds Pale. Popular beers served are Goose Eye, Kirkstall, and Saltaire, which rotate frequently as guest taps.

In addition to beers, The Regent serves some wines and basic cocktails. Soft drinks are also available for non-alcoholic options.

The Place

The pub has a traditional, cosy atmosphere with two separate bar areas. There is a lounge bar which has a stone fireplace, beams in the ceiling, and plush, comfortable seating. The other bar area has more of a public house feel with a lively atmosphere, gambling machines, and disco lights. Both rooms have TVs for showing sports.

There is an outdoor patio area with leafy landscaping and outdoor heating, which becomes popular during sunny afternoons and the annual Chapel Allerton Festival in September.

Dogs are welcome in the bar area and children are welcome at the pub until 6pm.

The Location

The Regent is located on Regent Street in the heart of Chapel Allerton with bus routes going into the centre of Leeds and further north of the suburbs. Regent is close to Chapel Allerton Park.

The Regent has step free access to the rear of the pub via the outdooring drinking.

After visiting the Regent, guests can explore the shops, restaurants and bars along Regent Street and Harrogate Road. The area around Chapel Allerton offers a nice selection of independent retailers selling gifts, fashion and homewares.

A walk around the hilly green space of Chapel Allerton Park will wake you up after a few jars at the Regent.
