Things to Do

Football

You can play on one adult full sized grass football pitch and one mini sized grass football pitch suitable for junior use. These are both marked out pitches with fixed goal posts.

Walk-Jog-Run

The green space is ideal for anyone to walk, jog or run a few laps around the playing fields. A single lap around the edge will clock 3 quarters of a mile. Why not run the 4-sides of the field at different speeds to test your pace and endurance.

Games

The open green space of Osmondthorpe Lane Playing Fields makes for a great space to play some games. You might have equipment for some classic striking and fielding games, or you simply might want to run around. This large field is made for some recreational fun!

History

Food and Drink

There aren’t any food and drink options in the immediate surrounding area.

We recommend you travel to the opposite side of York Road on Harehills Lane. Here there are a number of takeaway restaurants on this road, like the Caribbean Creative Cuisine.

Parking

Park for free on the roadside on the edge of the playing fields on Osmondthorpe Lane, LS9 OJL (Google Map Directions)

Access

The playing fields are accessible to a wheelchair and pushchair user dependent on the weather conditions.

As the surface is solely grass so in poor weather it may become difficult to navigate in a wheelchair or pushchair.
