History
Keepmoat building company rejuvenated Oatland Playground in 2016 under its promise to improve play spaces in Little London.
Little London takes its name from a comparison made in the 19th century that this part of Leeds has similar architecture to suburbs of London.
The high rise flats and multi-culturalism may take comparisons to Brixton or Croydon. Little London was redeveloped in the 1950s and 60s. Various high-rise and low-rise council housing was developed throughout the suburb.
