Location
Nowell Mount Park is close to York Road on the edge of the Burmantofts suburb in inner-city east Leeds. The area is broadly notable for having 1960s high-rise housing blocks.
Things to Do
Football
There is one junior sized grass football pitch in Nowell Mount Park.
Leeds United Premier League Kicks sessions are run from the park for 8-18 year olds every week. The programme’s aim is to use football to develop the young peoples confidence.
MUGA
On the multi-use-games-area (MUGA) next to the community centre there is a basketball court marked out. This space is in need of some TLC so please bear in mind that the surface may not be even all over.
Cycling
A 0.3 mile traffic-free cycle circuit is paved around the the park. This paved route is perfect for little legs (and longer ones too!) who are learning to ride.

You can park for free in one of the 7-spaces – including one disability spot – at Nowell Mount Community Centre, LS9 6JJ (Google Map Directions)
Alternatively, there is on-street residential parking on Nowell Mount.
Access
Once inside Nowell Mount Park it is fully accessible. However most of the footpath entrances into the park are blocked as shown by images in the Gallery. There is one wheelchair accessible entrance on Nowell Mount to the east side of the community centre – link to Google maps showing entrance.
