It is sometimes also known as Magpie Lane playground.

Location

Morley is a town located 5-miles south of Leeds city centre.  In medieval times the area was wooded which gave Morley its name, meaning ‘wood by a moor’.

Things to Do

Playground

Millbeck Approach Playground is a nice little park that has recently been re-built in the last couple of years. The park comes with climbing frames, castles and towers, slides and swings. There is also a sand pit in the centre. The playground equipment is suitable for toddlers and young children.

A CCTV camera operation has been installed to reduce anti-social behaviour at the park.

Amenities

The nearest toilet is 5-minutes up Magpie Lane at the Gardeners Arms.

There are rubbish waste bins at the playground. Several benches will be found in the playground area.

Food and Drink

Hong Kong Chef – a small Chinese takeaway – is a short walk away on Wide Lane.

Parking

There is no dedicated parking for the Millbeck Approach Playground. You can park for free on the residential road of Millbeck Approach, LS27 8WA (Google Map Directions)

Access

The playground is full accessible with wide open paths and some accessible paly equipment.
