Grove Park by the river Wharfe is a proper picnicking spot. Once you’ve dined on your basket of goodies you can take the leftovers to feed the ducks on the river.

Food & Drink

Along the front of the river Wharfe are a couple of quality restaurants a stones throw from Grove Hill Park.

The Mill Bar & Bistro – the changing seasons are a big influence on what’s cooked up at this bistro. Ingredients are picked locally and the dishes are seasonally themed.

The Fleece – our pick for a super family and dog friendly pub for those days everybody comes to the park. The double log burner and views down to the river are big pluses and we’ve not even mentioned the drinks and grub.
