An excellent family run, independent Chinese restaurant serving fantastic food with attentive service.
There are vegan friendly, and vegetarian friendly food options available.
There is soup, dumplings, nibbles ( prawn and chicken toast to salt and pepper squid) and there’s also a cold starters list.
Some of Wen’s signature dishes are Dan Dan Noodles, Pan fried dumplings, Braised pork cubes in brown sauce, Crispy sliced lean pork in special made sweet sour sauce, Kung Pao chicken.
All portions are very reasonably sized.
There is a reasonable selection of beers and wines to pick from. As well as the usual spirit and mixer combination. As well as this there are a selection of soft drinks available.
Wen’s has a very relaxed vibe. The restaurant is unpretentious and although the décor is a little dated it does not detract from the quality of the atmosphere and food.
Playing low-level music making it’s ideal for conversation without feeling like everyone can hear.
Where to Park
The closest parking is the Trafalgar Street Car Park open until 8pm. The next best place would be Citi Park Merrion Centre.
The restaurant is set across two floors, and the toilets are located downstairs which is an accessibility issue.
Collection is available.
Note from Discover Leeds: Where possible we suggest contacting directly and/or collecting as third party delivery companies take a large cut.
