Hidden underground bar in the heart of Leeds serving up live jazz, soul and exceptional drinks.

The Domino Club is a live music 1920s speakeasy venue showcases some of the best jazz, blues, funk and soul in Leeds.

Wet your whistle with high grade craft cocktails, wine and beer; and take a break from dancing in a cosy leather booth, or prop up the bar like a barfly from an American novel.

The Domino is one of the best jazz and cocktail bars in Leeds. Bear in mind that a visit is always a paid entry, but the quality of the live music is more than worth it!

The Drink

Alongside the long list of beers and wines you can choose from a seasonal cocktail list that has a depth of choice, ranging from the classics to some signature re-works. Perfect to sip whilst soaking up the atmosphere!

If you want something a little more unusual you can try one of the boilermakers – a glass beer mixed with a shot of whiskey – that has been specially paired for taste. The whiskies at Domino are selected from around the world, but kindly they are sold at cost price.

The Place

Through the barber shop door and down the stairs until you’re hit by the luscious sound of the jazz chords…

The bar has been tastefully designed with signature touches like the brass bar top and glass pendant lights.

The Domino sound is jazz, blues, reggae and soul. Live music events are scheduled most nights of the week.

Many of the acts are products of the local jazz scene nurtured by Leeds College of Music. For a full listing check out Domino’s up and coming gigs.

The Location

The Domino Club is hidden – literally through a trap door – in Lord’s Barbering located in the Grand Arcade.

The Grand Arcade is a Grade II listed building that was built in 1897 in the Renaissance style. It is situated in the middle of the Northern Quarter in Leeds city centre.

The nearest parking is paid at Templar Street car park, LS2 7LP (Google Map Directions).

Access

The Domino Club is only accessible by a staircase into the basement club. It isn’t accessible for wheelchair users.
