Mrs Atha’s

Mrs Athas does a breakfast, brunch and lunch menu. Popular picks include  buttermilk pancakes, poached egg on toast and French toast.

The café is notable for its narrow space with exposed brick high ceilings stretching back through the interior. Leather chairs and quiet nooks make it inviting to sit away from the crowds; the furnishings give a strong shabby chic feel to the place!

To escape the shopping crowds underground head downstairs to the basement area. For warmer days there is outside seating at the front. And Mrs Atha’s welcomes dog visitors too!

Mrs Atha’s is situated in the heart of Leeds city centre on Central Road close to the Corn Exchange.

The front entrance to Mrs Atha’s is wheelchair accessible. Despite this the basement area is only accessible by a flight of stairs.

After enjoying a drink or something to eat at Mrs Atha’s you could take a leisurely stroll and look around the bric-a-brac shops in the Corn Exchange; or wander through the stalls of Kirkstall Market.

For those wanting a social one following the wake up you could venture down to one of the bars on Call Lane or on the Calls and get the first round in – the view of the river Aire on a nice day might sway you to Aire Bar.
