The menu centres on a tight selection of slow-cooked curries. Chicken Madras arrives with chopped breast cooked down in a rich Madras sauce, while the Chicken Masala takes leg meat through a tomato-based masala. The Lamb Karahi — bone-in chopped leg slow-cooked with tomatoes, spices, and fresh herbs — is the heartiest option on the board. All curries come with a choice of pilau rice, chapati, or chips.

Wraps offer a lighter route through the menu. Chicken Tikka, Seekh Kebab, and Chicken Fillet wraps are all available on their own or as meal deals with chips and a drink. The Mix Wrap combines fillings for a bigger hit. On the snack side, Crispy Spicy Wings, Seekh Kebab, and Vegetable Samosa are each available as individual bites or as full meals.

The Crispy Chicken Tikka Burger — a golden-fried fillet marinated in aromatic tikka spices, topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and creamy tikka mayo in a toasted bun — rounds out the menu with a street-food crossover. A kids’ menu with chicken nuggets and fillet wraps makes it workable for families passing through the market.

Vegetarian options are limited but present: the Vegetable Samosa is the standalone meat-free choice, available as a snack or a full meal with chips and a drink.

Leziza is an alcohol-free venue. The drinks list runs through the soft drink standards — Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Sprite, Fanta Orange, and Fanta Lemon — alongside Rubicon Mango for something with more character. Red Bull covers the energy drink bracket, while Sanpellegrino Italian Sparkling and JO2 Orange Passion Fruit offer a step up from the fizzy pop. Water is available, and meal deals include a drink from the full list.

The stall makes an impression on the Market Kitchen concourse. Bold “Leziza Curry House” lettering in dark gothic font runs across an olive-green fascia board, punctuated by a neon orange chilli-and-flame logo and a prominent halal certification mark. The counter front is clad in dark brown vertically-slatted timber — a warm, contemporary finish that stands out against the industrial backdrop of the market hall.

Backlit menu boards above the counter display dish photos and names, and an “Order Here” sign directs the flow. Food comes out on black cafeteria trays in white bowls with reusable black cutlery — functional, no-frills, and focused on the food rather than the presentation. Seating is the shared Market Kitchen arrangement: light wooden tables and orange plastic chairs beneath the high steel-truss ceiling and strip lighting of the covered market hall. A Coca-Cola branded fridge sits behind the counter, and the surrounding stalls and colourful rainbow teardrop banners in the corridor add to the bustling, everyday energy of the market.

Leziza sits inside Market Kitchen at Leeds Kirkgate Market, right in the heart of the city centre. The market is well-served by public transport — Leeds bus station and Leeds railway station are both within easy walking distance.

NCP The Markets is the closest car park to Kirkgate Market, with 646 spaces and a maximum height of 2.08m. NCP New York Street is a nearby alternative. On-street accessible bays are available on Cross York Street, opposite Co-op, and George Street, opposite John Lewis.
