The Drink
If you are looking for good ales then look no further. A continually rotating selection of some of the best that Leeds has to offer! On top of this they have a substantial gin collection as well as the more normal lagers and other spirits.
There are a small selection of soft drinks available.
The Place
Kirkstall Bridge is a Grade II listed road bridge in Kirkstall, City of Leeds, West Yorkshire, leading the B6157 road across the River Aire and the railway line between Leeds and Shipley.
The pub has one of the best beer gardens in Leeds. On a sunny day we really recommend heading down. Loads of picnic benches to choose from, lining the River Aire.
If you head inside, you are back to the ye’ old pub days. Narrow entrances and poky rooms where the smell of cosy pub and ale awaits.
The Location
Set on the banks (and bridge, hence the name) of the River Aire, and a stones throw from the Leeds Liverpool canal. The Kirkstall Bridge Inn is on the edge of what would be described as the edge of Kirkstall, Hawksworth and Bramley.
Although situated on the side of a busy road (Kirkstall Lane), the positioning of the pub means once you enter the garden or venture inside the outside world is paused. The thick stone walls and sound of the river replace the city noise.

Where to Park
There is a large on-site car park alongside the pub.
Access
The beer garden is easily accessible via the road into the carpark on the right side of the pub. Here to road sweeps down to alongside the River Aire. This is fairly steep however, so take care.
The pub itself is not particularly accessible. Both entrances are fairly narrow, and there are steep steps down to where the toilets are located.

If you are visiting during the day, we would recommend a sunny walk down the Leeds Liverpool canal. This can be accessed just over the road across the bridge here (Google map link). Or maybe you would prefer to explore Kirkstall Abbey.
However, if you are here during the evening you could take a short walk over to the Kirkstall Arcade. For just over a tenner you can play on old-school arcade games until your hearts content!
