The Food
At Captain Thornton’s it’s all about only using the freshest mixed batter combinations and high grade sustainably caught fish. All the spuds are British selects that meet the quality.
On the menu is all of your chip tea favourites. Haddock, Yorkshire fish cakes, jumbo sausage with your essential sides including peas, gravy and curry.
Other main choices are scampi, nuggets, spam and scallops. A notable side with a difference would be the halloumi slices.
The Captain hosts lunch time deals like a small fish and chips for a bargain price, or the feed the family offer!
There is a children’s menu – little captain’s – with fish bites, chicken nuggets and jumbo sausage.
