Location
Bramley is a district in west Leeds. The area expanded significantly during the industrial boom. Architecture is heavily influenced by 19th century design. Many of the homes originated from the social housing builds in the 20th century.
Victoria Park and Victoria Park Garden are situated between Victoria Park Avenue, Outgang Lane and Raynville Avenue.
Things to Do
Walking
The circular path around the path makes for a nice calm walk. It is a popular spot for people walking their dogs and letting them off the leash.
Picnics
The open green space is a sun trap on good weather days. This makes for bringing a picnic along with you to enjoy in the sunshine. For food and drink supplies there are four mini-supermarkets and off-licenses in the surrounding area.
Games
The rock formations at the front of the park make for some great circle games with friends – like the classic one duck, duck, goose. For those that like a run around, the wide green space is perfect for ball games like football, cricket and rounders.
