Playground
The playground got a full upgrade in 2021. It is now a fenced off play area with swings, a climbing frame and a slide. There is also a sensory touch stone in the fashion of an underwater world.
For those wanting to a longer visit to the gardens and playground, you can sit around the benched picnic seating area within the playground.
MUGA
There are 2 5-a-side football pitches that are enclosed by a fence. And one full sized grass adult football pitch. For basketball you can make use of the fixed hoops on the court. Markings have been made for both sports.
Tennis
You can access one hard court tennis court that is open to the public. Simply bring equipment, turn up and play if the space is free.
Rugby
At the eastern side of the gardens, next to the Denis Healey Community Centre, is one full sized men’s rugby pitch with fixed goals. Seacroft Shark ARFLC play competitively here.
Denis Healey Community Centre
Refurbished back in 2021, the Denis Healey Centre hosts an indoor gym, kitchen and cafe, foodbank and sports hall. Lots of youth, women and men’s group come together here.
