Playground
The children’s playground has swings, slides and a roundabout to keep them entertained for a couple of hours.

MUGA
In the corner of Queens Park is a concrete MUGA surface with basketball markings. Bring a ball along and get stuck into some dribbling.
Outdoor Gym
The park has had an outdoor trim trail installed. It’s a multi-purpose track that leads you on from one piece of gym equipment to another. Each piece targets a different muscle group. Which makes this outdoor gym the ideal free alternative to a gym membership.
Orchard
In the corner of the park is a community orchard that contains a decent number of fruit trees.

History
It might be a football park but cricket rules the roost in Pudsey…
Pudsey has been big into its cricket since the 19th century. It’s produced some of the best cricketers Yorkshire and England have ever seen. Sir Len Hutton, Herbert Sutcliffe, Ray Illingworth and Matthew Hoggard all learned their cricketing trade in the town.

Food and Drink
At the top end of the park travel is Cemetery Road. This road will take you to a couple of choice eateries that are in walking distance of Queens Park. Head east along Cemetery Road and you will come to the Jade Dragon – a tasty and very accommodating sit down or takeaway Chinese. If you want something a little different these guys are prepared to rustle it up.
If you take Cemetery Road west you’ll come to Petty’s Fish and Chips. With the warm greeting always comes the request of how you like your fish done. We love how attentive these guys are to your frying needs.
