Tennis
There are 2-tennis-courts to use at Brigshaw Lane Recreation Ground. These are both hard court surfaces in reasonable condition.

Do I need to book a tennis court?
It’s free to use the tennis court but you will need to book a court space on the LTA clubspark website.
Outdoor Gym
You can try the outdoor gym equipment at Brigshaw Lane Recreation Ground. Push, pull or pedal on the different stations that are located next to the tennis courts.
Bowling
Kippax Bowling Club play all their home games here. As difficulty goes the green can be a bit of a tricky one to bowl on because of its uneven gradient. Many bowlers agree that it is one of the best greens to play on in Leeds; and the friendly and relaxed atmosphere probably has something to do with this.

History
The land between Brigshaw School and north into Kippax was mined in the 17th and 18th century. A part of this was the mining of small shallow coal mines, also called bell pits.

The nearest public toilet is a short walk up the road to the White Swan pub.
Rubbish and dog waste bins are available in the park.
Food and Drink
Up the road in the centre of Kippax is the Top Fish Bar which serves generous portions of great fish and chips.
