The Chicken Gyros Box pairs slow-turned rotisserie chicken with warm pitta bread, tzatziki, the house Yiros sauce and a mixed salad — a format repeated across the range with pork gyros, chargrilled chicken souvlaki skewers and pork souvlaki as alternatives. The Greek Sausage Box swaps in a chargrilled pork sausage, while the Kofta Box features chargrilled lamb kofta with pitta and tzatziki.

For something bigger, the Mixed Grill brings together chicken and pork souvlaki, Greek sausage and kofta on a single plate with mixed salad, pitta and both sauces — a sharing-friendly spread that arrives looking suitably lavish. Wraps offer a lighter route through the same fillings, each rolled with skin-on fries tucked alongside.

Vegetarian options are well represented. The Grilled Halloumi Box comes with thick-cut, cross-hatched halloumi alongside hummus and Yiros sauce, and both the Falafel Wrap and Mixed Grill Vegetable Wrap provide substantial meat-free alternatives. Starters include a creamy hummus, tzatziki with warm pitta and tyrokafteri — a spiced Greek cheese dip — while sides run from halloumi fries to crispy calamari. Desserts close things out with baklava, orange pie and trilece, a milk-soaked sponge cake with caramel.

Yiros is a soft-drinks-only venue — no alcohol is served. In place of a bar, the drinks list leans into the Greek theme with Loux, a traditional Greek soft drink brand, available in cherry, lemon and orange. Standard options include Coke, Diet Coke, Red Bull and bottled water.

The interior makes an immediate impression with a large graffiti-style street art mural in vivid blue and grey tones, depicting a mythological figure behind the ordering counter. A warm honey-toned natural wood counter with a bright yellow-orange accent strip runs along the front, while dark shelving fitted with wicker baskets lines the wall above.

The open kitchen sits behind the counter, anchored by a large vertical gyros rotisserie that acts as the visual centrepiece of the space. Natural wood tables in a light honey finish fill the dining area, framed by large glass windows with white structural pillars that flood the room with natural light during the day. Warm pendant lighting keeps the atmosphere inviting into the evening. Service follows a street food counter model — you order at the counter and food arrives at your table.

Steps lead up to the entrance with no ramp visible, and wheelchair accessibility has not been confirmed on any platform. Woodlesford railway station sits approximately 400 yards away, served by Northern and TransPennine Express services.
