The Hare is a 200-year old coaching inn that’s been serving the community of Rothwell for as long.

The Food
The Hare serves traditional British pub grub lunches throughout the week with a Sunday roast to top it off. Food is sourced locally where possible.

From a patio sun trap in the summer to an open log fire in the winter the Hare can accommodate you all year round. For any sports fans the pub screens all the major sporting events across three large screen. And you’re welcome to bring the dog along too.
Quiz
A Harry Potter themed quiz takes place monthly on a Tuesday or Wednesday. Expect questions and rounds themed on the Harry Potter movie series. The quiz starts at 8pm. And there’s lots of prizes to be won!
