The Place

Out of the Woods occupies a small, curvy, glass fronted space. This compact space is decked in wood, with rustic wooden floorboards leading up to a counter made of the same cuts of wood. Long stemmed lights hang down from the ceiling creating a snug ambiance given the floor to ceiling windows.

There are only three or four small red wooden tables but enough stools to comfortably fit four people around. Along the glass window frontage is a low hanging surface, again accompanied by red wooden stools, ideal for gazing canal-wards.

Both indoor and outdoor seating offers blankets and cushions. Dogs are welcome!

The Location

The café is located along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, at Granary Wharf in the city centre – a popular area with restaurants, bars, and shops. The train station is also within walking distance of the café.
