Food and Drink in Morley
Morley is a historic textile and mining market town about five miles south-west of Leeds city centre — the largest town in the Leeds metropolitan borough after Leeds itself — and its food and drink scene reflects its strong independent identity. Morley Market has been trading since 1880 and runs around 60 stalls including bakers, delis and butchers, while Queen Street and Albion Street handle the surrounding strip of independent cafes, bakeries, traditional pubs and chain restaurants beneath the Grade I-listed Morley Town Hall (1895).
