Food and Drink in Meanwood

Meanwood is an inner-north Leeds urban village wrapped around the Meanwood Valley a couple of miles from the city centre, and its small but distinctive food and drink scene helped earn it a recent place on lists of the UK's coolest neighbourhoods. Independent pubs, neighbourhood bars, speciality cafes and a long-standing fish and chip shop cluster around the high street, with the converted Meanwood Tannery and the 7-mile Meanwood Valley Trail (running from Woodhouse Moor up to Golden Acre Park) shaping the surrounding character.
