Heaney and Mill has history. It’s been in the same family for the past 50 years and more. Established as a restaurant in 2017; the menu covers breakfast to dinner and offers the best of British cuisine. In particular the seafood dishes, which have become a pick of excellence for Leeds foodie lovers.
There are gluten free, vegan friendly, and vegetarian friendly food options available.
Take a look around
The menus change regularly to keep the offering fresh and exciting while showcasing the best produce the area has to offer.
Breakfast options include oats, pancakes with strawberries and bagels alongside hot dishes like a full English, and salt-aged sirloin steak with eggs and Hollandaise sauce.
The evening menu boasts small plates like burrata with roasted beets, sugared pecans and aged balsamic, which are perfect for a relaxed grazing meal. There are also deli platters and large plates such as roasted haunch of venison served with black fig, celeriac, creamed potato and a rich Port sauce. If you’re of a fishy persuasion check out the scallops or the tuna.
Everything is homemade and cooked to order, so the team can happily cater for any specific dietary requirements.
Alongside some steady soft drinks is a fully stocked wine bar and a cocktail station – classics include: colada, daiquiri, pornstar and the espresso. These guys know how to take care of you.
Heaney & Mill opened its doors in late summer 2017. With its exquisite food and relaxed setting, Heaney & Mill is a true foodie paradise. This proudly independent restaurant serves top-notch cuisine in relaxed surrounds. The interior is stylish and serene – think marble table tops, exposed stone and a muted colour palette. And outside you can sit under the popular outdoor terrace.
