The Food
The menus change regularly to keep the offering fresh and exciting while showcasing the best produce the area has to offer.
Breakfast options include oats, pancakes with strawberries and bagels alongside hot dishes like a full English, and salt-aged sirloin steak with eggs and Hollandaise sauce.
The evening menu boasts small plates like burrata with roasted beets, sugared pecans and aged balsamic, which are perfect for a relaxed grazing meal. There are also deli platters and large plates such as roasted haunch of venison served with black fig, celeriac, creamed potato and a rich Port sauce. If you’re of a fishy persuasion check out the scallops or the tuna.

This proudly independent restaurant serves top-notch cuisine in relaxed surrounds. The interior is stylish and serene – think marble table tops, exposed stone and a muted colour palette. And outside you can sit under the popular outdoor terrace.

The Location
Situated just at the end of Headingley high street, just next to The Bowery. If you are not sure what you want from an evening (or a day for that matter), Headingley high street has a little bit for everyone. Due to its positioning in a very residential and student area, it is jam packed with bars and restaurants. Moments away from the Stadium, and backing on to Woodhouse Ridge – you can’t go wrong.
If you are sat by the window or outside in the afternoon, you may be in for a treat if an Otley Run group are passing. Although they don’t come into Heaney and Mill – they walk right past the windows. At this point a little bit wobbly.
