The Food
The kitchen is run by the team from Gron Kafe. Plant-based food takes up 90% of the menu, with veggie and vegan brekkies that double up as popular breakfast and brunch choices.
Alongside the Gron team are the pop up ‘Braizin Squad’ who are a collective of renowned chefs cooking up some of the best roast dinners in the city. This temporary seasonal winter takeover adds more meat to the menu.

The Drink
Coffee early door and alcohol later on is the yardstick for getting a drink at the Green Room.
Local breweries like Northern Monk, Kirkstall Brewery and Magic Rock host the craft beer and ales. While the gin goblets and spritzes provide a zesty alternative. And there is always the classic-filled cocktail list that changes with the season.
For those really living by the name you can get a special Gron green juice and shot!
The Place
The owners of Green Room have built a sustainably focused environment that’s reflected in the recycled décor.
It’s a super social space that attracts the after-work crowd to its canteen, bar and roof terrace – the piece de resistance, showcasing a stunning backdrop of city skyline rooftops. So much so that it has been voted among the best rooftop bars in Europe by a travel website.
In winter the bar adds to its outdoor terrace with fire pits, heat lamps and blankets for guests.

The Green Room has a ramp access at the front of the building to the ground floor social space; there is a disabled access toilet too here.
Unfortunately there is no step-free access to the terrace.
