Named after the father of a local restauranteur, this Italian themed restaurant has been serving classic Italo dishes and contemporary interpretations of its kind, for the people of Pudsey for more than 10-years.
There are gluten free, vegan friendly, and vegetarian friendly food options available.
Alongside all your usual antipasto nibbles (olives, mushrooms, anchovies, artichokes) are great entre dishes like calamari; bruschetta and brie; mozzarella; meatballs; prawns, shrimps & mussels.
All the household names but cooked with love and authenticity – lasagna; risotto; spaghetti; ravioli; cannelloni!
The exemplar combinations over stretch pizza or roll it in one with a Calzone.
It’s a proper meaty selection on the specials board – steak; veal; chicken; prawn; salmon; terrine; stroganoff.
And for desert you could be finishing your courses with cooked grilled pineapple, ginger ice cream and French pancakes; tiramisu; profiteroles.
There’s a really generous selection of bespoke wines that have been selected to pair with and enhance your meal. Choose from a slew of red, white, rose. Or push the boat out even further and order some bubbles from the Prosecco and Champagne menu.
If you don’t want to drink in harmony to the food then there is some beer and ale options, or sparkling cocktails.
And it wouldn’t be right to not finish with a freshly brewed Italian coffee.
The interior exudes the relaxed homely feel that GiGi’s aims for. Italian pizzeria style tables and chairs stand high off the ground, all under a high ceiling that’s supported by wooden beams. It’s this rustic feel that sets the tone as soon as you walk in.
