Back in 1997, Fuji Hiro was the first Japanese restaurant to open in Leeds and more than two decades later it’s still going strong.
The intimate 40-cover restaurant is close to the Merrion Centre and decorated in traditional style with Japanese art adorning the walls and old sake bottles spread around the room.
Chef-patron Victor learned his trade in Japan and he has put together a concise and tasty selection of dishes with friendly staff on hand that are happy to guide you and make recommendations.
Fuji Hiro is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and kids are welcome too with smaller portions available.
There are gluten free, vegan friendly, and vegetarian friendly food options available.
