The guys at Doh’hut have reclaimed the single vision of a classic British inspired donut – think of a pack of 6 raspberry jam donuts from Morrisons. And they’ve added some real artisan flare with food accolades from Britain and Europe to show for it.
They competed in the British St. Food awards and won the Northern Heat in Leeds. They were then crowned 2018 Champions in the national finals in London. After this they won the Best Dessert award at European St food Awards.

The Food
All ingredients are of the finest quality and every step of the dough and the fillings are made by hand fresh every day. And if what you want isn’t already filled or plastered on a donut then your encouraged to create your own on the spot.
The mainstay favourites are start with the classic take on the ‘Raspberry Jam’, ‘Chocolate Nutella Ganache’ & the famous ‘Crème Patissiere’ (Vanilla Bean custard). Or pick the surprise and take the weekly special. And if you want to start with something savoury they’ve got baguettes and paninis ready to go.

The Drink
Doh’hut serve high quality coffee roasted by North Star Coffee. Every double shot of espresso is weighed to the gram for a consistent cup. Their coffees is all made using Italian made La Marzocco machine. The milk they use is organic, and sourced from a local diary farm in glass bottles!
They also has a small selection of soft drinks available.
The Place
The idea for Doh’hut initially came to Tom Stafford (the brain behind Doh’hut), whilst on a road trip down the west coast of the USA. Inspired by the food trucks and street food he wanted to bring the concept back to the UK, but make it more ‘British’. Something different so it could stand out from the crowd.
At that point there was no real Donut competition in Leeds other than Krispy Kreme and Tom was sure he could beat them. He kicked the idea off in his flat, and it moved from there.
With growing demand and popularity, his operations have evolved from a truck to a permanent home in the centre of Leeds. Doh’hut on Trevelyan Square is a warm and welcoming space for those that want to take a break from the humdrum of the city centre.
