The Food
Find us someone that doesn’t love some fish and chips!
It’s white succulent fish and chunky chips with a side order of mushy peas or curry sauce all the way. You can go large or knock it down a few pegs to a child’s size. And Arkwright’s are ready to take your order – with vegan, veggie and gluten options on offer – exactly how you like it cooked!

Arkwright’s is set back just off Woodhouse Street, and has been there serving up fish and chips for quite a few decades.
When you walk in you’ll immediately notice the antique fish and chip shop era tiles – a great touch if we say so ourselves! And what’s even better is they have a longstanding arrangement with the Chemic pub next door.
You can take your fish and chips into the pub and enjoy a drink with it! Lovely!
