Stage Espresso and Brew Bar showcases an impressive coffee programme centred around both espresso-based drinks and filter coffee options. Their regularly rotating menu features single-origin coffees from various producers and roasters, with Union Hand-roasted as their primary supplier.

The establishment maintains two espresso options at all times – their house espresso using Brazilian Bobolink beans, and a rotating guest espresso that changes monthly, such as their Ethiopian Yayu Wild Forest coffee.

For filter coffee enthusiasts, Stage offers multiple brewing methods including daily bulk-brew options and hand-poured coffee using the Kalita Wave method.

Traditional espresso-based drinks are available, including piccolo lattes, cappuccinos, and straight espresso shots, each carefully crafted.

Beyond coffee, Stage rounds out their beverage menu with hot chocolate and a selection of teas.

Stage Espresso and Brew Bar occupies a beautiful corner building with striking architectural features, including long, deep windows each crowned with elegant arches.

The interior is flooded with natural light through windows that stretch along two sides of the venue, offering views of the Grade 1 listed hospital buildings beyond. A beautifully crafted wooden counter forms the centrepiece of the main space, following the natural curve of the building’s wedge-shaped interior.

Stage Espresso’s commitment to coffee diversity is evident in their selection, typically featuring multiple origins simultaneously – from Brazilian and Colombian beans to Burundian varieties.
