The dining room at No 14 is compact and intimate, anchored by an exposed Yorkshire stone feature wall that runs the length of one side. A contemporary blue LED accent wash illuminates the stone, creating a striking contrast against the white-painted walls opposite. Large sash windows dressed with Roman blinds in a neutral check pattern flood the space with natural light during lunch service, while small wall-mounted Edison sconce lights cast a warm amber glow in the evening.

Round and rectangular tables in warm medium oak sit beneath a gallery wall of framed artwork. Evening service introduces white tablecloths and candlelit tables, lending a more refined feel, while lunchtime keeps things relaxed with bare wood. The south-facing garden is a genuine asset. A stone-paved pathway runs through the centre with lawns on either side, and six to eight tables with dark metal chairs provide proper outdoor dining rather than a token terrace.
