The Food

The menu spans the full breadth of Indian street food, opening with a cold chaat counter where Gol Gappe — crispy hollow puris filled with spicy tamarind water, potatoes, and chickpeas — and Dahi Puri topped with yogurt and tamarind chutney showcase the tangy, textural side of Delhi eating.

From the tandoor and grill, the Hara Bhara Kebab blends spinach, cashews, and mixed vegetables into a vibrant green patty, while Afghani Lamb Chops arrive marinated in yogurt, aromatic spices, and cashew paste. The Samundari Gulab Kebab stands out as a signature creation — a seafood dumpling of crab meat, fish, and prawns stuffed with figs and dates.

A dedicated momo section, named after chef Uma, serves steamed chicken, paneer, and vegetable dumplings with a tangy dipping sauce — a nod to the Himalayan influence on Delhi’s street food culture.

Mains range from a rich Dal Makhani of slow-cooked black lentils and kidney beans to Chicken Chettinad on the bone, fired with South Indian spices and coconut. The Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani layers bone-in chicken with fragrant basmati rice and traditional spices, arriving sealed in its pot. For a full spread, the Non-Veg Platter Deal brings lamb chops, seekh kebabs, chicken tikka, and king prawns alongside naan, biryani rice, and raita — built for sharing.

Vegetarian and vegan options run deep across every section, from Jackfruit Masala and Railway Potato Curry to Achari Paneer Tikka and the Indo-Chinese Chilli Paneer. All food is halal, and gluten-free options are available throughout the menu.

The Drink

The signature Delhi Ka Banta — billed as a mojito with an Indian twist — comes in masala, kiwi, and passionfruit spritz variations, available as a mocktail or spiked with a spirit shot. It captures the restaurant’s approach to drinks: rooted in Indian flavour, with options for every preference.

A full cocktail list includes a classic Margarita and Long Island Iced Tea, while the wine selection covers Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec, Shiraz, and Prosecco. Cobra and Peroni sit on the beer list alongside Peacock Cider in original and mango-lime varieties.

Non-alcoholic options are extensive. Beyond the Delhi Ka Banta mocktails, you can choose from Mango Mojito, four flavours of lassi served by the glass or sharing jug, Masala Tea, and a full espresso bar. Peroni Zero offers an alcohol-free beer option.

The Place

The dining room sits beneath black corrugated ceiling panels and exposed silver ducting — an industrial shell that contrasts with the warm, festive interior below. Conical black metal pendant lights cast an amber glow across marble-effect stone-topped tables set with wine glasses and cutlery, while fairy lights trace the white-painted walls.

A fabric-wrapped structural column anchors the room — stacked bands of green floral, red geometric, and yellow prints create a bold, colourful focal point. Metallic butterfly and peacock wall art in blue, orange, and red adds playful detail against the clean walls, and Indian festive bead garlands in red, gold, and green frame the large glass frontage.

The space is compact and intimate, seating around eight to ten tables. A full bar at the rear features dark wood panelling and a backlit spirits display. Food arrives in copper and steel karahi pots for sharing, and Nitin Sharma regularly greets diners personally — the warmth of a family-run restaurant with the credentials of an award-winning kitchen.
