The Drink

Expect some really great one-of-a-kind indulgent cocktails that are themed by the month of the year; taking inspiration from Yorkshire ingredients. It’s Prohibition with a modern twist.

The Place

A hidden 1920’s themed speakeasy located in an old Victorian building with walls adorned with eclectic art, perfect for a post-work tipple or a late-night party.

You enter the bar from a small door on Call Lane. The entrance is painted black,  and if there wasn’t usually a bustle of people by the door it would be unnoticeable.

The bar opens up at the top of the stairs. A large dark wood bar with a mass of spirits stacked up lining the mirror. The bar is dotted with seats and areas groups or couples can tuck themselves away, and a space to dance just away from the bar.

The Location

Stood outside the front of the pub you will be able to see the famous Cornucopia Mural. Created in 1990, a vibrant and iconic piece of public art. Commissioned during the renovation of the neighbouring Corn Exchange, with the aim of revitalizing the area.

A good place to park near The Maven on Call Lane is Trinity Leeds Car Park.
